Oklahoma City Public Schools proudly prepares breakfast, lunch, and supper for our students. The After School Meal Program started at Capitol Hill High School and because it was a great success it is expanding to other schools!!
All OKCPS students 18 years and younger qualify for a free meal after school. They are not required to be a student at the specific host site. As long as the student arrrives within the schedule time they may eat.
The program was started to combat hunger and meet the needs of OKCPS students. It benefits food insecure students as well as those engaging in afterschool activities like band practice, sports, and tutoring. Using federal funds available through the Child and Adult Care Food Program, OKCPS is able to support the Afterschool Meal Program.
Your school nutrition team is working hard to continue the expansion of the program. Look below to see the current schools that host an Afterschool Meal Program and their days and time of service. For a copy of the menu visit our menu page by clicking HERE.
